Home Made Super Cleaner (2024)

Introduction: Home Made Super Cleaner

After being away for a while I'm back to making Instructables.

Things have changed in my life and I don't have the time at the moment to make extensive projects like before. Still, I want to share with you some little tricks that I use in daily life, I hope they are useful to you!

In this Instructable I'm going to show you my favorite cleaning product recipe. Lets call it Home made Super Cleaner.

Of course I also made a video of this project as you are used to. This one is in the first step.

Supplies

  • 1 Cup Dishwashing liquid
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Soda

Step 1: Dish Soap

The basis of the mixture is dishwashing liquid. The most important property of this is to loosen dirt and ensure that it remains dissolved in the water. Furthermore, the type of detergent determines the scent and color you want.

  • Add 1 cup of dish soap

Step 2: Water

The next step to make the super cleaner is to add water. Dishwashing liquid is quite thick and when not used in water becomes quite sticky. So the purpose of the water is to dilute the base mixture.

  • Add 1 cup of water

Step 3: Baking Soda

In this step we are going to add Baking Soda. Baking soda is alkaline, so it reacts well with acids. This property is very interesting because most bad odors are caused by acids. So it is a very good deodorant. Baking soda also has an abrasive texture that is useful for cleaning.

  • Add 1 tablespoon of Baking Soda

Step 4: Salt

The last ingredient is salt. Salt naturally has a slightly abrasive property, which gives it the ability to gently sand away accumulated dirt and caked-on stains. This makes it ideal for cleaning burnt pans, baking trays and other kitchen surfaces without damaging them.

  • Add 1 tablespoon of salt

Step 5: Stirring

Now that all the ingredients have been added, it is time to stir well. Mix until it is a smooth mixture.

You can then put this mixture in a clean bottle and then screw on the nozzle.

Step 6: Ready!

Your homemade super cleaner is now ready!

With the properties of the dishwashing liquid, baking soda and salt combined, it is the ideal cleaner for heavily soiled surfaces such as cutlery, pans, sink and even in the toilet, this product works wonders!

Please note: Aluminum surfaces cannot withstand baking soda!

Thanks for visiting this Instructable. I hope you find it useful and I'm curious to hear what you thought of it. Feel free to let me know in the comments!
