Does the Dark Tunic do anything in Tears of the Kingdom? ›

The Dark Tunic, alongside the Dark Hood and Dark Trousers, compose the Dark Series. When the full set is worn, it provides a Night Speed Up bonus. Also, characters get scared when they see Link wearing it. The Dark Tunic design is a straight color-swap of the Tunic of Time.

For the Dark Tunic, players will need to gather a total of 150 Poes. Once players have gathered the necessary 150 Poes, they should return to Lookout Landing and locate the Bargainer Statue situated in a small enclosure where they need to interact with Josha and Robbie.

This set, which comprises the Dark Tunic, Dark Trousers, and Dark Hat, will offer an impressive stat boost. Hell, the Dark Tunic on its own is worth it for the stats and badass look. Where to find the Depths Armor in Tears of the Kingdom. You can only get this armor from bargainer statues. You'll need to find two statues to buy the Tunic of the Depths for 150 poes, four statues for the Gaiters of the Depths (200 poes), and six statues for the Hood of the Depths (300 poes).

The Depths Armor can be upgraded via any of the Great Fairy Fountain locations using materials found in the Depths, like deep fireflies and frox drops. When all three pieces of the armor are upgraded twice, it'll give you a set bonus, making you more resistant to gloom attacks.
