Description: On October 31, 2018, Plaintiffs DG, Anthony Ellis, & Travis McMeans (ages 13-15) were trick-or-treating with friends when multiple police cars arrived from both directions, stopping near the group. Numerous officers exited their vehicles and pointed their guns at the group of children. Anthony ran east, before being tackled by Defendant POM Shingru Wang, who then handcuffed the child with excessive tightness. DG ran east as well, until Defendant Lt. Description: On October 31, 2018, at approximately 9:00 PM, in the vicinity of 797 Hicks Street, Brooklyn, NY, NYPD police officers, including Megan O'Malley and Joseph Gonzales, approached Felton Durant without any reasonable suspicion and threw him against a wall. O'Malley called a racial slur and put her hands in his pants to touch his penis. The police then began punching Durant in the face and head, and he did not resist. They then handcuffed him with excessively tight handcuffs, arrested him, and took him to the 76th precinct where he was fingerprinted, photographed, and unlawfully detained.
