- 400 g self raising flour
- 200 g margarine
- 200 g sugar (preferably granulated sugar)
- 4 large eggs
- Essence (flavour of your choice) or juice of a freshly squeezed lemon

In a bowl mix in the margarine and sugar till fluffy

Add in your eggs mixed with essence one by one

Add in the flour and mix to a smooth consistency (should not be too runny or too thick)
